I live in Texas, but am the mother of a LAPD officer, and LAPD Centurion—Jamal Dawoudi.

My son has spoken often Officer Simmons, and was grieved at his tragic passing. He looked to him as a role model, and is proud that the team is dedicating this season to him,and your family.

My heart goes out to you and your family. You remain in my thoughts and in my prayers.
