LAPD SWAT RUN IN RANDY’S HONOR

The Los Angeles Police Department SWAT Unit will be running from Baker to Vegas on March 14-15, 2009 with their tactical vest, boots and utilities. They will be honoring fallen SWAT Officer Randal “Randy” Simmons and The Glory Kids. All proceeds will be donated to The Randal D. Simmons Outreach Foundation. As I ran to qualify for the D Team running team I kept repeating to myself, ” What would Randy Do ?” Every time I find myself on a call up or doing someting that takes me to the edge of my abilities, I repeat that mantra, “What Would Randy Do?” The Claw drags me along and I become the man I hope he would be proud of.
